Pantnagar Hostel will work as Corona Hospital

विश्वस्त सूत्रों के अनुसार पन्तनगर विश्वविद्यालय में 200 बेड का कोरोना का हॉस्पिटल बनाने के लिये शनिवार के डाक्टरों की एक टीम ने विश्वेसरैया भवन का निरिक्षण किया और विश्वेसरैया भवन को सभी प्रकार से उपयुक्त मानते हुये अपनी सहमति प्रदान कर दी और जल्द ही विश्वेसरैया भवन को कोरोना अस्पताल में बदल दिया जायेगा। हालांकि अभी तक इसकी कोई आधिकारिक घोषणा या पुष्टि नहीं हो सकी है 

अब कोरोना के संक्रमितों का इलाज पन्तनगर में किया जायगा। हालांकि अभी तक यह जानकारी प्राप्त नहीं हुई है कि क्या अत्याधुनिक मेडिकल उपकरण जैसे वैन्टीलेटर इत्यादि यहां लगाये जायेंगे या नहीं। अभी तक यह इलाज इस क्षेत्र में जिला चिकित्सालय रूद्रपुर तथा जिला चिकित्यालय हल्द्वानी में ही होता है।

        जैसा कि सभी परिसरवासियों को विदित है कि कोरोना संक्रमण के कारण भारत में 24 मार्च को लॉकडाउन घोषित किया गया था। तभी से पन्तनगर के अंतरराष्ट्रीय गेस्ट हाउस, कृषक भवन सहित मंदाकिनी, पटेल, टैगोर, सिल्वर जुबिली, विश्वेसरैया, नेहरू, पंत, चितरंजन भवन-1 व चितरंजन भवन -2 इत्यादि 17 हाॅस्टलों को षासन ने कोरोना से संक्रमित मरीजों तथा संक्रमण के अन्देशा वाले मरीजों को क्वारंटीन करने के लिए अपने आधीन कर लिया था और विभिन्न स्थानों से कोरोना संक्रमित संदिग्धों को यहां लाकर रखा जाने लगा। इन क्वारंटीन सेन्टरो में पुलिस के साथ साथ पन्तनगर के स्थायी कर्मचारियों की भी डयूटी भी लगा दी गई थी। 

जबकि पॉजिटिव पाए जाने पर कोरोना संक्रमितों को जिला चिकित्सालय हल्द्वानी भेज दिया जाता था। जिसके कई वीडियों लोकल लोगों के पास मिल जायेंगें। सूत्रों के अनुसार यह भी बताया जा रहा है यदि यह 200 बेडों का अस्थाई कोरोना अस्पताल पर्याप्त नहीं हुआ तो भविष्य में अन्य हाॅस्टलों को भी एक एक करके कोरोना अस्पतालों में परिवर्तित कर दिया जायेंगा।

According to sources, on Saturday a team of doctors inspected the Visvesaraya Bhavan to build a 200-bed corona hospital in Pantnagar University. They found pantnagar hostel suitable in all respects and gave their consent to convert Visvesaraya Bhavan as corona hospital and soon the Visvesaraya Bhavan will be converted into temporary corona hospital.

Now, the corona infected persons will be treated in Pantnagar. However, information has not been received yet on whether latest medical equipment like ventilators, etc. will be installed here or not. Till now treatment of corona infected persons is being done in the district hospital Rudrapur and district hospital Haldwani in this area.

As it is known to all pantnagrian, the lockdown was declared on 24 March in India due to corona infections. Since then, 17 hostels including the International Guest House at Pantnagar, Mandakini, Patel, Tagore, Silver Jubilee, Visvesaraya, Nehru, Pant, Chittaranjan Bhavan-1 and Chittaranjan Bhavan-2, including Krishak Bhawan have been undertaken by administration for patient infected with corona,. The patients were subjected to quarantine and Corona-infected suspects were brought here from different places. Along with the police, duty of permanent employees of Pantnagar was also imposed in these quarantine centers.

While on found positive, the corona infected persons were shifted to the district hospital, Haldwani. According to sources, it is also being told that if this 200-bed temporary corona hospital is not sufficient, then in the future other hostels will also be converted into corona hospitals one by one.
